Yes. Batuti Photos holds a CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) covering all commercial drone operations across Australia. Every flight is conducted in full compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations.

Yes — most venues require notice or approval for drone operations, and some have no-fly restrictions (especially near airports or built-up areas). I handle this in advance as part of booking, so you don't need to chase it yourself.

For most shoots 48–72 hours is sufficient. Weddings and large events should book at least 6–8 weeks in advance, particularly during peak season (October–March). Last minute bookings are always worth asking about.

Typically ceremony, venue/location establishing shots, and reception if there's suitable outdoor space and light. Full-day coverage or specific moments (arrival, first look, sunset) can be arranged — let's talk about your timeline.

I keep the drone well clear of guests and vows themselves — most ceremony shots are wide establishing footage from a distance or captured just before/after the formal moment, not hovering overhead during "I do."

Safety comes first — CASA regulations mean I won't fly in unsafe conditions (strong wind, heavy rain, low visibility). If weather rules out drone footage, I'll stay in touch on the day and grab shots whenever there's a safe window, even a short one between showers.

Yes. Batuti Photos regularly works alongside ground-based photographers and videographers — it's a core part of what we do. I coordinate directly with your other photographers beforehand so shot timing doesn't clash. Drone footage is complementary — the wide aerial reveals and venue shots your ground photographer physically can't get.

Edited files are delivered digitally within 48 hours of the shoot via a private download link. Raw files are not supplied as standard but can be arranged — ask when booking.

Depending on the location, CASA authorisation may be required. Every job is assessed in advance and any required approvals are arranged — this is standard practice and rarely causes delays.
